2015 – Research Scholars Program in Liver Disease from Gilead Sciences
Dr. Paganelli was granted the prestigious “2015 Gilead Sciences Research Scholar in Liver Disease” award for the project “Autologous transplantation of induced pluripotent stem cells-derived hepatocytes to treat hereditary tyrosinemia type 1”. This is the first time this prestigious award, which is endowed with a major two-year financing, is conferred to a non-American institution.


2015-2016 – CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation Scholarship Award
Quang Toan Pham received the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation scholarship to support his Ph.D. in molecular biology. Toan is working on the use of stem cells to model and treat hereditary tyrosinemia type I.
